We all know how our Fits are. They always have admirers even though some may be from afar and won't admit it. My wife thinks I'm a nut as to how I dote and baby everything I have. From my car, my Harley and even my bicycle!

So last night my wife and I are at the wake (RIP) of one of our neighbors and while outside having a cigarette, one of my other neighbors who I hadn't spoken to much lately (haven't seen her) says, "I really like you car! I have a co-worker that has one and he let me sit in it and I was really impressed with all the room, blah, blah, blah...and I'm thinking about getting one!"

My wife just rolls her eyes with that disgusted "here's more car talk crap" look and walked away!

How can anybody not like our Fits?! Ok, I have to admit. My Harley don't like my Fit as I've been finding myself enjoying the Fit on a more regular basis than the motorcycle.

 

I have the same problem, but it is my Honda (Shadow) that suffers while I drive my other Honda.

 

Yea I get the same reaction from friends all the time..
"That's not gonna all fit".. Yea ok.. =]

 

Yup. Yesterday a coworker rode her bike to work, when it was time to leave, it was pouring rain. I told her I can give you a ride home. I let the rear seats down and we fit her bike in the back. My other coworker had a VW Beetle and no way she could fit a bike in that car. She was impressed and when we were riding said "this doesn't feel like a small car when you are in it." She has a Subaru Wagon similar to my old car. I said it rides higher up than the Subaru. She was impressed with the visibility and the 2 little windows in the front windshield area

 

Funny you mention the Harley. I'd say my Harley almost seemed jealous of the Fit when it first arrived last year, and responded by requiring more than the usual amount of wrenching for a number of peculiar ailments which developed shortly after the Fit arrived in the garage.

Thankfully, after a year, the Fit and Harley seem to be getting along nicely.

 

yah, my neighbors down the street come up to me while im working on my other cars in the garage to talk about my Fit's. they know hell of a lot more about the Fit's than i do. hahahaha.

 

my crosstour get's those automatic carwash... my fit, well, i personally wash it by hand

 

Mine wasn't vindictive by giving me problems but I could tell by looking at her headlight that she was sad though.

What HD do you have? I have a '99 Sportster that I bought new.

 

Since i removed my "Fit" badge off my trunk, ive been getting alot of "Hey is that a Honda Fit?" in the parking lots. lol. Alot of my friends thought i was crazy when i got my Fit. Then they saw it with the new wheels and i told them what else i had planned for it. They deff. dont make fun of my car anymore. Fit is Go!
