We are very lucky here, the "top" model has that roof standard.

I do love it

Just so I can droole, do you have an interior shot looking up at the forward headliner/sky roof? I really like that and it isn't even close to being available in the good ol' safety conscious USA. You know, that roof could kill you.

I too am jealous of the roof, though I'd imagine my car would turn into an easybake oven with that much glass.

The glass is great, just allows more light, and a little more heat. It is great at night

Just more light at night, it is great, will never get another car without it.

Sorry about quality, taken with cellphone

LOVE THE SKY ROOF. Wanted one ever since I found out about them a while back. I know shipping would be absolutely horrid, but do you think you could find out how much a replacement assembly would cost? With the glass, trim, etc?

Thanks!

EDIT: Also, if you want to trade hazard switches, just let me know. hahahaha

I can try to get pricing,

However the roof is standard on that model in this country.

We have 3 main models
1.4 LX
1.5 EX
1.5 EX-S (this one has the bodykit, the rims, disc brakes all round and panoramic roo standard).

I will however ask my Dealer for shiiping,

PS. Car parts in South Africa are hideously expensive.

Wow, I have no idea why Honda USA doesn't offer that over here. I would've bought the all-around disc brakes and sky roof in a heart beat.

I have to say I'm pretty jealous of South Africa. First you get the World Cup, now this?!

I appreciate you finding the information out for me!

Hi Fletcher,
We do not have any pricing for a panoramic sunroof as we do not do any after market fitting.
Sorry mate , it is an odd one.
Have a lovely day.

fskelly well I just +repped you for getting me wet all over. That's one nice piece of glass.

Seems like the NA market is the only one where it's not available, that sucks Honda - get with it.

I suspect Honda NA is correct in their strategy. A finer Fit would draw sales away from the more profitable Accords, Civics etc.

Outside of NA Honda needs a posh Fit/Jazz, but not here.

Shame, really.

fskelly, is the top "glove box" refrigerated in yours? Not that we get that here either...

I'm not sure it's a matter of drawing sales away from their other models but more of the fact that in other markets the Fit, and similar styles, are in a respected class of cars. We have SUV's and pick-up's.

I think we'll see a change in how his play's out, well possibly our grand kids will.

HA So why did you mention a refrigerated glove box - now I'm really down.... a cooler in the dash, how sweet is that!!!

Yes, that is a refrigerated glove box, again this is standard.

However in this country we pay a premium for cars in general.

We also have the honda civic and accord. Also very expensive.

A Honda Accord 2.4 is very close in price to an Audi S3. The Audi being a little more expensive.

We also stand no chance of getting the Mugen Cars here. Also Mugen kit is prohibitely expensive.

The hazard switch, panaromic roof and refrigerated glovebox and climate control is standard on my model.

I paid extra for front and rear pdc and the honda armrest. Also purchased full maintenance plan.

On all models we have the red hazard switch. But not all models have roof or climate control.

NONE of our automatics have paddle shift

HA - no need for trick toys, I like it.

I heard some where that auto climate control in the USDM [not specifically Honda] is not very acceptable.

People complained that the AC would come on in the winter and they just didn't like that.

My 96Deville had it and it is the nuts, truely set it and forget it. No froggin around with fans and temp dials that haven't really changed in years.

Need to sell the most to the lowest common denominator...
