Lift kit

I back up the raised fit notion, it drug coming off of the dealers lot. Last winter the Fit was a tank in the snow (i did have snow tires) but for the snow drifts its always nice to have those extra few inches so you don't go "belly up".
Yes I also second the opinion that lowered cars look lame. My first impression is "oh that car has a flat tire...no wait, its supposed to look like that"
While im on a rant, i hate the different colored hoods too. Looks like someone primered the hood and didn't paint it
Just my 2 cents

You have two options to lift a Jazz:
Spacers similar that push the spring down or that length struts. There are two that I am aware of, one is sold on eBay from Russia (look for seller Tema4x4) and another I believe is sold from spaccer.com... Pro's with this approach is that it can be cheap and you aren't changing the springs... Cons are that your not really increasing the capacity of your suspension so much as just pushing your car up...
In regards to springs that lift your car up I would suggest looking at 2010-2014 Honda Insight OEM springs, they have been confirmed to fit and provide not only about 1.25" lift they also increase your carrying capacity by about 200-300lbs due to them being designed for a car that is about that amount heavier...
The part numbers for the springs are:
51401TM8A03 <= front springs
52441TM8A03 <= rear springs
Things I do no know but could be potentially useful: 2010-2014 Honda insight uses in effect Honda Fit suspension, now it would be interesting to see if there are any length differences for the front struts as then one could potential be able to do a 2" lift using both spacers and springs in the rear...
One could also look at doing insight springs in the rear and spacers in the front...

I have an '09 Fit Sport (auto) and I would LOVE to have the setup pictured above (the blue Fit's tires, suspension, and fender flares). IAmFinatic, Is this your vehicle, or one spotted in the wild? Do you know how the lift was done, and if it uses wheel spacers or increased offset wheels? I ran Geolandars on my Impreza and loved them.
Does anyone know if another Honda OEM shock bolts into the GE8 Fit and works well with the aforementioned Insight springs?
