You will absolutely rub with 16X7.5 +35 if you dont mod the fenders and liners. I had 16X7 +40 with the stock tires which were a little bit "stretched", and I rubbed over bumps at high speeds and on hard turns in the front. Back was fine, though.

On the side... anybody know if i'd be able to run a +35 offset on sportlines?
yes you can

i have +20 offset on my car

i had my brother's wheels which are the same specs but it had 205/45/16's on them.. i never rubbed once. i drove the car hard and took hard turns every chance i got (i love the feeling of new rubber on the road. it just grips!). i think the reason u rubbed was because the stock tires are 50 or 55 profile tires (i forgot).

So now i took it to the extreme with the rims i have now. 16x8 with a +20 offset (205/45/16). i only rub in the back (slightly) when my car is packed full of people and im driving at a high rate of speed over a bump. other than that.. no rubbing

Picking up my '09 LX tomorrow fresh off the lot, already ordered the Eibach sportlines, gonna be putting my XXR 501s on, 15x8 +15 with 195/50 tires on them. I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out!! Depending how much room it leaves me I might up the ante to 16x8 0 offset.

u mean the Base model? there is no DX LX EX that im aware of.

theres the Base, Sport, and Sport w/navi

btw. the front wheels will stick out more than the rear due to the car's body shape. FYI.

lol...I almost bought the LX as well but the Sport just came with everything I wanted to add anyway so I just went Sport....it's to bad they don't come with nav like models in the states. I would have bought it for sure instead of going aftermarket!

Yeah I'm gonna put the 15s on to see how much clearance it leaves me, if theres room I have a buyer for my wheels already and ill just up it to either 16x8/+15mm or 16x8/0mm.
