Water in my rear doors..anyone else

I have a 2010 Fit sport. 3.5k miles on it. 100% stock

Rained pretty hard today, fit was outside in the driveway all day, not driven.

I pull it in after the storm to start work on adding my new stereo to it and take off the back door panels and find to much horror, that I have water all in both my my doors and the rear door speakers are soaked.

Water is on the inner door side of the plastic door liner.

Windows were fully up in the car all around.

Anyone else have this problem?

yep, front doors are like that too. That's why it's very important to buy baffles or marine certified speakers for our car. No point spending $180 for speakers to have them wrecked after a few months.

Hey britdevine
Yes this is a prob with some of the Fits. There are small openings in the bottom of the doors for the water to drain out of, make sure they are not clogged up with stuff. Before installing the speakers maybe you can wrap them ing HD plactic like 5mils thick to keep them from getting wet.
Good Luck and keep us informed on this thread what's the outcome.

Water inside your door is completely normal, where do you think the water goes that runs down the glass when it rains.

Like stated above, use some baffles and make sure the drains along the bottom are not blocked.
