Talking Rear suspension - Improvement options?

Heba...I have 09 Sport MT - stock. Don't wanna lower, but do want options on how to improve rear suspension. I'm talking about when I hit a pot hole and I get the 'boom' or whenever I hit significant bumps and get major noise and bounce. I know it's a light car, but maybe change in springs and/or shocks will help? Thanks in advance!

most spring options will lower the car. so if you don't want to lower, just upgrade the shocks. it would be the most affordable option. you can also get coilovers to have both spring/shock upgrade, and since its adjustable u can set it to its highest setting for height to have it closest to stock height.

It's called defensive driving (swerve to miss pot holes)

Your best bet

When you hit pot holes that make a boom I wouldn't worry about your 'Feel of ride' or 'Noise' I'd worry more about bending/cracking a rim.

No matter what you do to the suspension you hit a bad pot hole your going to do damage.

If you want a more comfortable ride look into air shocks.

I'd go with my first suggestion first though.

Just be careful, that in your attempt to avoid a pot hole, you don't end up smashing into something else.

ha ...um obviously. I've been driving modified suspension (lowered) cars for the past 12 yrs. I've never had a problem yet.
