Here is where I post the shockingly glum news. In an effort to save $$$, I spent less than $30 at Wal-Mart. I already regret the purchase but I'll try it on for a while. I think that the one on the drivers side will be a problem even after trimming it down. We'll see. The one on the passenger side fits well enough. The two in the back fit but are just a tad too big.

I suspect that in a few weeks I'll be looking at the more expensive options.

I got the full rubber ones no clothe.

At one time I had rubber mats from Walmart in my Subaru Forester. They fell apart in less than 60 days.

Just a thought....

I don't recall ever having a problem with carpet mats. Sure they look bad after a while, and I'd just go get a new set. Alternatively, the first car with all-weather mats was the first car I began having sloshing problems and a water soaked floor.

It's wal-mart... don't set your expectations above basement level.

i've been running the OEM honda rubber mats and have no issues at all. they (obviously) fit nicely and look decent. had no issues with water/snow this past winter either.

I had that concern and that's one reason I went with carpet mats myself. On my 91 Accord I still have the original carpet mats. They look like total crap but the carpet underneath is like new.

Plus I think that the Fit carpet mats look bitchin! Even if I only get a year of good looks out them, I'll be happy. When you buy a new car every 20 years you need to have the new car thrill last as long as possible and all-weather mats did not do it for me in that department.

Updated original post. I still own the car and drive it nearly daily. Over 130k miles on it.
