8th Gen Civic seats in Fit
Has anyone attempted to put 8th gen Civic or Civic SI front seats in a Fit? I'm looking for seats with height adjustment due to large height differences between drivers and wondering whether this is an alternative. I found a reference to something like this but never saw a specific thread on this.

i don't know about the si seats but i do know Honda
does make adjustable seats for the Fit. Just not in the
US. They have them in Japan and europe. If you can
import you can get some. Plus you also get to have
sleep mode back. I think thats what they call it or
long mode.

I wouldn't consider non side-airbag seats though, not sure if that's what you mean. Those airbags can be the difference between walking away from a t-bone accident and ... well you know.

well, the stock civic si seats come with side airbags.

Yes, it is PnP for air-bags sensors for both driver front passengers.

Actually I think that the fit sits are more comfortable when the active head rest is "pulled", it removes the bump in the back. Would it be a bad thing for safety to have the seats always in the position "actived headrests"?
