another New Owner
Hi all I am new here and this is my first new car since a 1972 Datsun...
I just bought a 2010 Honda Fit yesterday. I really wanted the Blue Sensation Pearl, but my dealer checked everywhere within a 500 mile radius and could not find one. I love blues & that was my first choice --Tidewater Blue is my 2nd ---so dealer is getting a "blue " one in tomorrow. Will see whether it is the bright or the light. My current car is a white Subaru, so I wanted a change. I have already had a silver car and a bronze car--
This looks like a great forum & I hope to learn much.
Thanks
Soozn

I wonder if Rallye is the same as the US Milano Red. It looks slight brighter.
You guys get interesting colors in Mexico...
Although I have to say Asia takes the award for most unusual color variety.
It also seems you get the JDM style taillights, too!!

also, What are the JDM headlights? Are there different types of headlights. I think the black edges look very cool!

I meant though, that the rear lights that you have look like the ones on the Japanese-market cars. A lot of people here are interested in getting taillights like that to replace the ones they have. Yes, some markets have different lights based on the country the car is made for. I will take a pic tomorrow and post it so you can see the difference.
I think the red you have is a bit brighter than our red. Great looking car!

Wrong Color
Congratulations on getting a Fit. Unfortunately, you got the wrong color if you wanted speed. You should have gotten a blue. In the latest tests from the Institute of Speedness, blue has much less drag, equivalent to another 20 HP in the Fit. In fact, my blue Fit's paintjob goes faster than the car.
But, seriously, you won't be disappointed. I own 2 Fits and love them both. And you're at the right Forum.
Where can you get so much information on such a small, economical and cool car?

Congrats, and welcome to the club. I now have 68,000 kms (almost 40,000 miles) on my '09 Fit Sport MT (Blue Sensation Pearl) and (12V power outlet and secondary temp sensor notwithstanding, which were replaced under warranty at a little over 50,000 kms) it's been practically bullet-proof.
Watch out for the paint though--- like all newer cars with "enviro-mandated" water-based paint-- it scratches and chips easily. Those self-serve wand wash stations are particularly evil, especially if you didn't first insure that the douche-bag before you didn't wash the mud out of the brush after scrubbing down his muddy pick-up. Best to wash it at home with hose and bucket and wax at least twice per year.
