General Daytime Running Light Question
I know I can just pull the fuse to disable this... But, I have a very simple question. I have a 2010 Fit Sport. At night when I turn my headlights on I see 2 lights on my dashboard lit, one I know is the fog lights. But what is the other? I believe it is daytime running lights? or just telling me my headlights is on? Any answers? I opened my manual and it said daytime running light, but what relivance does that have for nighttime driving? lol. Sorry im still new to the new cars. I am coming from a 2000 Honda civic DX.... Yea DX, means no radio or power anything... any help?

That's it. One is for your fog lights and the other your headlights. So if you're like me who uses the fog lights as well at night that's what you get to see. Two dummy lights. It's stupid but the Fit wouldn't be happy if it didn't have a light for everything! I don't mind it though. I'm to the point where I almost don't notice it.

One is fog lights on. One is headlights on. It's basically necessary because the Fit dash is always illuminated (so you can no longer look at the dash and realize your headlights are off because the dash lights are also off).
There is a DRL indicator light, though...the high-beam indicator comes on faintly when the DRLs are on. Try it at night....put car in gear (AT) or disengage parking brake (MT) with the headlights off and you should see it. It's pretty much invisible during the day.
