Rota's+Tires+suspension! Eicbach pro kit. I was getting 800(ish) for the rota's shipped. I saw lsd motors sports is offering something similar to that range. I am still looking around for a good price. Spring would cost around $200? Plus install for the springs and tires plus alignment.

 

save some cash and do the install yourself, there is a great write-up on how to do them. I guess $1100 isnt too bad then.

machiii.net were a bunch of a**holes. I ordered a set of wheels from them, and recieved nothing from them for over a week. No email, no tracking, no conformation, nothing. I give them a call and they say, oh, we dont have those in stock, havent for a while and wont again bc there discontinued, didnt you get the email? As soon as i hang up and cancel my order i get an email from them saying blah blah out of stock please call us back. /end rant.

Do you have to get alignment done after you get you car lowered?

 

I still think you should consider other options such as...

 

If you want your tires to last, then yes get an alignment

 

Some people like to rock fake wheels and some don't. It's personal preference. I never said that there was anything wrong with rocking Rotas.

OP, please create a thread so you can show us pictures of your E36 M3.

 

and now I am confused about going with either the eibach pro kit or the sport line. Also plan on getting JDP front lip. The springs, JDP spoiler and JDP front lip will come first before wheels I think

Rock the Wheels! if you can't find something you like, you can always find a style and have them painted to match. Find a nice set of wheels and paint the lip Pink or maybe the flat face of some Silver Alloys.

As for the sportlines/prokit decision, I believe one is a tad bit lower and stiffer. It depends on your desires for the fit. I'd go with the ones that don't drop it so low as it will be your DD.

Like others said, welcome to the forum and I'm glad to hear you are looking for opinions but wanting to do your own thing (not letting the crowd choose for you like many others do).

Can't stand the car but I like what the artist did with the reflection. IMO, ford tried the same thing (bring back the nostalgia) with two cars, the thunderbird and the mustang and while the mustang was a complete success, the thunderbird was an utter failure.

Our goal is to add to the car collection (wife want's a classic StingRay, we both want her father's '69 GT500, & I want a 427 Shelby Cobra)

Lol wut, main point was that there are no 12th gen tbirds with pink rims, anywhere. However, it certainly wasn't a bad car. It really stuck to its personal luxury car roots. It was never meant to be the fastest or the sportiest in fact it is technically the best handling tbird ever created.
