The Semi-Annual Box Swap

The Semi-Annual Box Swap
When I was bored last weekend, before the accident-
It's that time again: the days are longer, the air is warmer, and every bass lover is getting tired of their winter SQ (Sound Quality) subwoofer box. So the opportunity has come again to drag the ported box out of the attic.
Blue light from above is the same 2 quadchip LEDs in 10mm chrome housings mounted in the child restraint latch cover. I've always had. It was a pain to install the LEDs in the small storage box to the right but never really needed them because I never use the box for anything ...
It's pretty big, 4.4 cubes + port volume. Close to the upper limit of 2.25 cubes per sub recommended by the tech manual. Port is tuned to a reasonable 34hz. (why didn't I carpet the sides? you'll see.)
I took the 'winter' sealed box out to compare to the 'summer' box.
Amps unmounted, any cable management ideas? left is 320rms watts 4 channel A/B amp bridged down to 2 for the component speakers. Right is 900 rms watts mono class d. Both CEA-compliant. Got a good deal from a guy on craigslist at $100 a piece. Cooling fans are loud (when music is off) but distortion is minimal and they have been very reliable.
I hate this part, the fit is so tight I have to go from the rear seat back to the cargo area. It is impossible to remove or install the box through the hatch. (who needs audio couplers when you have no intention of selling the box)
So the reason why there is no carpet on the sides is because the fit is so tight that there is no angle you can see the box sides from anyway.
The worst is finally over. WARNING: Never mount your amplifiers to the sub box as it may cause damage to internal components! (who reads the owner's manual anyway?)
Almost flush with the top of the seats.
got bored later that day and put in some white puddle lights too.
I was even more bored and got a picture of the Fit to use as the background on the radio.
HaHa, but now after getting rear-ended, more mods are the last thing on my mind.

Heh, I suppose that is a little retro but since everything LED is wired to the dome lights and I rarely blast my radio anymore except at meets I'm starting to think of myself as an undercover ricer since I look almost bone stock (except the small angle in the spoiler from my adjustable spoiler mod) when I'm on the road besides, seeing the same tinted, debadged, lowered, smoked tailights, stagered offset black rims, pnp hid lights, etc. modern styling thing gets boring after a while.
I decided to do the puddle lights after the 2010 VW Tourareg in the new Repomen movie.
