I have one of these and it completely covers the windshield like in the picture and the little side windows also. Good fit! When rolled up it's not small and lives on the floor of the back seat. I have to get out of the car to unroll it and roll it back up again so it's not like the shades you see at the Zone. Much bigger. I need it however because I park my car outside and it gets hot! I like it.

While you are talking about blocking out the sun, has anyone managed to somehow improve the stock sun visors with the mirrors in the back? They block all of 2" of the sun when extended and placed over driver's door window. I've actually never seen such a joke of an implementation- they are really bad. A little telescoping would have gone a long way there.

HandA-accessories has a sunshade that is custom built for the fit. It's 20 bucks.
Here is the link: http://handa-accessories.com/fit09.html

I went to Walmart and bought the JUMBO sunshades that kind of fold up into a circle I'll try to find the brand later, but it works like a charm on the GD

I've tried all sort of other ones, but nothing else seemed to fit the huge windshield :/ I got it for about $10, and they have some with patterns too if you're into that kinda stuff

I've been all over Bernardi Parts (after reading your post) and I can't find a sunshade anywhere. Maybe they don't have it any longer?

If you can find it please post a link.

Thanks

I have this exact one, and it does a great job. Completely covers the windshield and keeps the car much cooler. I figured...why mess around with something that will not completely fit the LARGE windshield.

Worth the $$, but is kind of a pain to roll up. Also...because it is large, it tends to sag in the middle once up.

Be careful with those sunshades that twist into a circle. They have a thin wire hoop around the edge, and I've had that hoop scuff up the dashboard in another car, even through the cloth that covers it. The Fit's interior plastic is soft, so avoid scraping that hoop across the plastic as much as you can.

I bought this one, on Amazon based on feedback from another member here. See the picture he uploaded on how it fits. Been happy with it so far.

Covercraft and Coverking also make custom sun shades; however I bought one from Info-Tech part No. HD-50 purchased through upgradeanyauto. I will give an update when I receive it.

I got the largest sun shade from Super Autotoyz. Fits perfectly. It's the one that collapses.
