greetings, I just purchased a 2010 fit sport. I really like it. It will be a company car that 4 or 5 different people will hava access to it at different times. I took it on a date this weekend. It was raining like crazy, we were in a hurry, and I left the lights on, drained the battery, and had to call a wrecker. . I was trying to impress the lady. All style points were lost at that moment.

I know it is addressed here earlier, however, I'm a DIYer and would like to know if anyone has sucessfully linked the headlamp power to the ingnition switch?

thanks,
dale

PS. I installed a kenwood NAV, with Bluetooth, etc last weekend. I'll try to post a pic.

Doesn't your car beep if you try to remove the key from ignition while lights are on?

Yes, I think so. However, I still want to prevent the possiblity of forgetting or being distracted, and having another dead battery.

thanks,
dale

Having come from a car with auto headlights I have done this too because I was so use dto the light automatically going on and off without me ever turning a switch. I bought a jumper pack battery so I never have to worry about a dead battery since I can just jump myself (or others, who will love you forever) but I did just see this kit:

AUTOMATIC LOW-BEAM HEADLIGHT CONTROL - JCWhitney
