2nd gear downshifting (M/T)
Well I got my Jazz already a couple of months and I still can't consistently get the downshift to 2nd gear smooth or even the shift from 1 to 2. What is the proper way to rev match it.
When my speed is lower then 20km/h (sorry for the folks in america, but i am too lazy to convert it to mph right now), I dont press the gas pedal at all and it gets it smooth all the time. but anything above and I either over rev it or it jerks. I try to really give it just a little bit of gas when its in the lower 20ies and when my speed is higher I give it a firm push. Its really a hit or miss something though.
I need to improve my driving a lot more.

i have the very same problem, i really think its because of the fact that these cars dont have a throttle cable and i hate that the clutch throw is non adjustable also, it seems too far out before it engages - i cant get used to it eather and its been two weeks for myself aswell

Just keep driving and trying it, you'll get it eventually. It took me some time as well, coming from an Integra with a normal throttle cable and shift linkage in the form of a solid rod.
Its very different with an electronic throttle and cable shifter, along with the fact that they threw in a clutch delay valve. But you'll both get it eventually.
