I have a new 2010 Sport Auto and am having a similar experience. It seems to get better when the engine warms up.
1 drain and refill with exactly 3 qt of Genuine Honda ATF-Z1 solved most of the shift problem. A reflash to the latest software for the PGM-FI has also helped improve the shift quality. So, the problem has been solved for now.

I have my DW-1 sitting in my garage. I will be changing one day over the Christmas/New Years holiday.

I am also gong to compare my fluid to brand new Z1 to see color differences.
I only have 30K miles on the Fit but I am use to changing my 94 Accord fluid every 20K (in the manual). Like said before it is cheap insurance for Honda xmsns.

I have been changing every 20K in my Accord snce I bought it with 40K miles on it and now I have 300K. Routine maintenance only and can still spin my 205/55/16's off the line.

I am thinking of taking a few videos while doing some 0-80 runs while paddle shifting at 6K rpms before and after I change to the new DW-1 in case there is visible/noticeable difference once warmed up.

Sorry for not responding, I forgot about this post.

When I had the TSB for the mpg display performed, this involved updating the vehicle's onboard computer to the latest software. Something in the latest release of the software changed the way the transmission behaves.
