Coilovers installed! 4 pics
Had fun last night and got the coils installed in 2 hours.
Much lower, lowest setting. Megan coils.. Yup, not much else to say. Stiffer by a tad then my old tanabe df's and otherwise, same.
I just love my fit now cause its actually dumped.

I think your car looks phenomenal and I don't mean to hijack this thread as it is not my intention but I have some questions.
Maybe I'm just getting "old". But, for example, when I bought my Harley, there was no way I was buying it used as I didn't want the PO to tell me, "When it does that - do this." With a new bike, I know exactly what it's been through and how its been treated as I'm no mechanic and most Harley owners think they are instant mechanics as soon as they buy an HD.
And that brings me to dropping/slamming the car.
Yes they look great but I continue to read threads about tires rubbing when carrying passengers, the ride being stiffer, needing to avoid speed bumps, etc. So why do it?
Is it mere looks? Is there any other advantage besides maybe a little less roll in a turn?
As I said, maybe I'm just getting old and am thinking "It was built that way for a reason". OMFG do I sound like my father (and I swore I never would)! LOL

Why does everyone like the way this looks? I don't get it. I certainly appreciate the handling benefits but cosmeticaly... No. If I ever got the coilovers I'd probably only keep the setting at .5 - 1 inch below stock on off track days. I can't explain it but the profile of the tire and the wheel well just don't match at that height. The well is too wide and too low. The 2nd picture shows what I mean more than the first.

While I'm never one to jump out and totally love a "dumped" car, the stance on this - functional or not is amazing. You could maybe come up in the back maybe a 1/4", but the front is perfect.
You got some rep from me. Wish I had the balls or a roads around me to go that low.

Lol, sup bro, ya man, winter tie on the fit was ok. Up here in Ontario, Canada we really didnt have much of a winter. Waited a few months for the coils and its so much better now as you know. LOL, guess I better not post pics of how low my s2k is ( i might get ragged on, jokes). I think now i just want a front lip but there isnt much out there for us as per yet Nice chatting again dude,

Oh tire, size wheel size thing, ok
rims are ssr type 6 16x6.5 (shit i think 42mm offset, maybe 43mm) Tires are 195-45-16. The rear do not rub and yes the front rubs on the pastic innner liner.
I hear someone say the tires are too thick, If I were to go with a 195-40-16 the wall is then too thin imo on a 16" wheel. 17 you can rock 40 with ease.
Once agin only my opion but after 15 years in this game, what do i know
