Yeah, I thought about pointing this out to him. It would resolve as a picture on his machine. Ignorance is bliss. The irony is delicious though.

A larger rear sway bar will absolutely make the car more tail-happy, and will increase the likelihood that the inside rear tire will lift in hard cornering. VW Golfs, Jettas, Foxes, etc... up through the MK4 all use a torsion beam rear axle similar to the Fit's, and love to lift that inside tire in autocross/track use.

I had a 22mm Rear Sway in my EP.

Let's just say that I had an incident around a corner as well...."drifted" right into a damn fire hydrant. Sucked. :-\

So anyways...LOL.

By letting off the throttle, you shifted the weight towards the front, thus making your rear tires lose traction. You were probably going in a little too hot. If you want to push your GE8 to the limit, take it to the track. Luckily you didn't get hurt or get anyone else involved.
