Haha I love rota threads. Same four pics of exploded rotas every time. You better be careful, those wheels were all on Fits while they were hypermiling around town.

Haters gonna hate, doesn't that go both ways? People that buy Rotas generally "hate" against those that buy real because they could of spent less and gotten fakes, rather GARBAGE!!! Why are they garbage to me, because they are just copies. Isn't copying (cheating) wrong in society, when you went to school what happened when you were caught cheating (copying)...it was looked down upon. Yet it is ok to copy others when it comes to car parts, because well not every wallet is created equal. Neither is intelligence, but cheating is still wrong. I love the easy throwing around of terms these days as well. I'm a hater because I don't like fake shit, alright I'll be the biggest hater around, I could care less really.

I just hate cheats in general and to me copies are cheats. Rota should just start creating their own style instead of relying on other companies to come up with designs for them to copy.

The CR Kai is a pretty heavy wheel no matter the size so not sure what you are looking for if it is just looks then go with it, but then you could go ahead and join the cheating crowd and get the Rota fakes that look similar to the CR Kai and save yourself some money for well fake body parts since oppai seem to make a woman, but wheels don't make a man.

Actually, it sounds like you could care a lot less.

I don't think Rota eats into a market segment RAYS gives two squirts of piss about.

You could also care a lot less. Quite hypocritical of you isn't it? Why did you feel the need to post, yet when I do, you say I could care a lot less. Doesnt' the same apply, do we both not bleed red?

Oh, I'm not sure I said I didn't care.

I meant to gently tease you about your grammar:

But I am impressed by the intensity of your emotion. Had you said "People who buy Rotas can't afford Volks and are possibly buying a lower-quality product," I would agree with you.

Let's be honest, though: RAYS makes excellent, high end wheels for performance vehicles driven by wealthy people. I love my car, but its a 100 hp econobox. I care more about MPG than lateral G.

RAYS doesn't care if Rota makes knockoffs--they aren't trying to sell to the people who buy knockoff rims, and they'd sue Rota if they wanted to.

But--and mind you this is the nine millionth Rota thread I've read here and on Honda Tech--when people get their nuts in knots over how unsafe Rotas are, or the moral outrage of buying knockoffs, I just say haters gonna hate. People love to tell other people how to spend their money.

To me I'd buy what fits my budget but also satisfies me. So if I will buy new set of wheels and tires. I'd buy myself some rotas but I would not buy fake boobs. Having real boobs is better than fake boobs whether if the boob is small or big . But that's just me. Peace.

QFT, I would have no problem with Rota... if they designed their own wheels.

I guess I always figured people can buy whatever they want.

Some people want to mod their cars but don't have a lot of money, so they buy cheap wheels that make sense on a cheap, slow car like the Fit. Some people put toyota wheel covers on their base Fits. Not my cup of tea but hey--at least I've never seen that done before. Some people buy Mitsubishi Galants and spend their time on a Honda Fit forum. Not saying I understand everything.

Rota wheels seem to elicit an uniquely acerbic brand of butthurt on import forums. I'm not sure why. Maybe people buy the expensive rims and feel like they got cheated when other cars look the same?

It can't be that posters' paychecks come from the expensive wheel brands and so thats money out of their pockets, though...which I could understand. But I'm certain that RAYS, Spoon, Mugen, etc don't care that every time some poor bastard says "Hey what do you think about Slipstreams" there's ten people that come out to whiteknight their favorite brands.

Oh, yet ANOTHER anti-Rota thread.

They're plenty strong enough for me and the trackday abuse I give 'em.

I don't buy that Rota is "stealing" or cheating. You can immitate design and style, it just can't be exactly the same.

Get outta here man. All you ever do is talk shit around here. If its not up to your standards is eww sauce. Guess what man, nobody really gives a shit about what you think. I used to have some sort of respect for you, as I have shown you in the past, but screw that dude. Let people get the wheels they want or can afford. Some people actually have more important things to spend their hard earned cash on wheels with a different name on them to impress some nobody on the internet. I would love a set of Volk or Works but I have bigger things on my mind, things that actually matter. I really dont give a shit about making you or anyone else on here fap.

People modify their car for themselves, and Rota's work fine for them. People that spend $3000+ on hunks of aluminum and disposable rubber JUST to impress random people on an internet forum is a fucking idiot. There are probably hundreds of thousands of Rota owners in this country, and all we see are the same pictures of them broken. In my opiinion it actually proves that they are very strong, a very very very small percentage end up failing. And nobody can explain under what conditions they were broken in. The car could have been in an accident for all we now.

So stop poking your face in every Rota thread possible just to say that others people wheels are not up to your standards. You are clearly showing your age with this repetitiveness, and im sure people will not be offended because you dont like their Rota's. And stop bitching about them copying higher end designs because most designs are fairly common. Spoon SW388 are basic 5 spoke wheels, you really expect nobody else to come out with a similiar design? Companies like Volk and Work are doing JUST FINE with Rota out there. With the prices they charge for their wheels im sure they have enough to stay in business and grow. Rota is not impacting them at all. Get the hell outta here with all this hate man. Nobody is listening, or caring. What kind of life is that where you just come on an internet forum and throw around your standards in peoples faces like they matter?

you could really say that those VRs were really abused way more than the Rota's from pictures alone? you're good.

what about more of a better example wherein people who buy original rims and hating on Rota's? and not people who buy Rota's hating on those who buy original ones? anyway, your analogy of copies = garbage is pretty much lame. another Rota/copy-hater i pressume? let the haters hate as someone has said.

not everybody could buy original rims or not all are willing to spend on one. so, just respect it. Rota's are built with good quality with a reasonable price if i must say. if you want to buy a Rota, then go ahead. its your wheels, its your car.
