Panic alarm went off randomly,...has it happened to you?

My alarm kept going off last winter. After some googling I found that Honda hood latch sensors have a tendency to fail. I removed the sensor, packed the connector with silicone grease and wrapped it in electrical tape. The sensor sees the hood as "closed" when the circuit is open so unplugging the sensor permanently opens the circuit. No issues since.

mom pretty sure my problem is in the trunk though, since the trunk light won’t go off.

I had to reset my password to get in but I'm still around. My alarm has not gone off since. The issue was 100% a failed hood latch sensor.

Seeing this issue too. Rather than try to fix my hood or hatch connections (no idea where to look, or what I'd be looking for), I think it would be easier for me just to remove a breaker. Does anyone know which one would control the alarm system? Or maybe I can't do this for security reasons?

EDIT: I'm attaching the page for removing the top of the grill and the guide to remove the hood latch. If you need more or something different let me know.
