So I just did the accord horn mod. When I honk my horn I get the new lower tone. When I alarm my car I still get the little beep. Do I have another one I need to switch out?

 

i dont get a different beep from my alarm... but i have a base with the keyless alarm addition thing...

try to use the alarm beep to find the source?

 

There is a different alarm horn located behind the drivers side headlight. It's only used for the alarm, so either you can swap it, or just leave it be.

Well now hell you didn't have to go take the whole thing apart just to show him.

 

Seeing's how that %$*#* alarm beep on my Fit only gets set off occasionally by me by mistake (in my driveway!), both me and my neighbors greatly prefer that "little beep" rather than the louder blaring of the Accord horn I installed..!

 

Not sure how yours is set up but mine only beeps if I press the lock button more than once. Besides there are too different horns on sport and sport/nav, one operated from the steering wheel and the other for the alarm/keyless entry so you could change one w/o changing the other.
