Our Pre cut are cut slightly larger to insure that you or your installer is capable of tucking the vinyl, any access vinyl can easily be trimmed off

How durable are these?

Let's say you install on your roof...

How long do they last? Peel? UV resistant?
What kind of prep do you have to do to the paint? Anything?

This sounds very interesting.

The vinyl is rater to last 5 to 8 years, will not damage paint when removed. Up keep is the same as paint! The only prep I recommend is doing a nice clay bar job before hand to make sure you have a nice clean surface. The overlay will be offered in gloss black and matte black.

UPDATE---Just finished templeting out the 1st gen, still looking for a second gen?

I thought you were templating the GE (second gen) all along since you were in this forum?.......

What is the purpose for it? Just for looks?

It seems like it would make the car really hot in black, but I bet the blue with a white roof (Mini style) would look pretty nifty.

I was afraid to click on the link. I had a horrible mental image of this:

Complete with AARP sticker and a peeling, faded "Bush/Quayle" sticker.

So um, how long would you need the car? And can it easily be removed if one wanted too?

To develop the template we will need to meet on two separate occasions.
1st meeting to take measurements and construct a template (will take about 30 min. max)
2nd meeting will be the actual install/ test fitting. Will take about 45 min to install.

The vinyl can be removed anytime without harm to your paint.

What brand is the vinyl and how thick is it? I'd be interested in the carbon fiber pattern for my ge!
