just making sure because there's lots of different people on these forums; so please don't be offended if this is elementary.
so you rode in it with your friend and you guys slammed the brakes down to check that the abs was working properly right?

sounds like u have a different problem or you
just need to rest the light. but definitely check
for codes before you reset it. so you at least
know a little about what caused the light.

the only way i know is by OBD scanner. which i have to look
up codes and reset them.
Now i'm not sure if you can just disconnect your battery and
it resets. it might work might not. i have read that some guys
did it just don't remember if it worked. remember to have
your radio code if you do this. maybe someone else will chime
in and let you know about the battery thing.
