is there a way to reset the MPG meter?

Was wondering if there was a way to reset that meter in the dash. i tried looking it up on the manual but wasn't sure what to search for, or maybe i glanced at it and missed it.

but i just wanted to reset it to start over so i can see how i would do in high way only. or city only.

I hope you mean trip meters. There are Trip A and Trip B. This is how to reset it.

To reset a trip meter, display it, and then press and hold the select/reset knob until the number resets to
‘‘ 0.0 ’’.

When you reset the trip meter, average fuel mileage is reset simultaneously.

I don't think you can reset the odometer itself.

Yes, there is only tripometer for FIT. Sorry about that. I was thinking about 10 Civic Si but the concept is the same.

Yes, just reset the trip and it will reset "average fuel mileage" as well.
