Technically, yes... Realistically no. Using systems that are well known transports for viral activity leaves a much better chance of you picking up the latest and greatest virus for which many companies have no definition list for. It's kind of like saying that you are just as susceptible to dying due to a gunshot wound living in the country as you are in the ghetto. technically... yes because gunshot wounds do kill people. Realistically, you are less likely to be shot in the country (unless you go hunting with Dick Cheney).

A lot of virus protection is common sense... Hmmm should I click the link or not?

Help?

I'm about 50% of the way through converting all the songs.

Hi, Ihave the same exact problem and have not been able to find a solution. What free software did you find that works? None of the ones I tried will even recognize the file type. Thanks!

I believe it was called File Factory or something like that but it didn't work too well. It wouldn't read all the songs and the ones that it did successfully convert, when playing the songs on the iPod, they would either skip and/or speed up and slow down; so I just started rebuilding my list from scratch.

Thankfully I only had about 70 songs and not 100's or 1000's and the iPod came with a $50 iTunes card.

Thanks for your reply! Yea I have about a hundred songs that I will have to re-download. I spent a whole day trying to figure it out but couldn't find anything that works well. I'm surprised no one made a converter that could work, because a lot of people have the same issue. Thanks again though!
