Went to DMV to register my GE8 in LA. Horror story

You aren't supposed to buy a car out of state with less than 7500 miles, otherwise they have you jump thru some hoops before you even get to register your car.

For all other DMV stuff, I just go to my local AAA office. They can take care of pretty much anything vehicle-related.

The DMV here is so stick with out of state cars espcially new one's is because they want to make sure your not trying to avoid paying sales tax on the vehicle. Most cars today are "50 state" certified so there is rarely a smog issue with a new car, but maybe the fit has a different version for California?
