Still loving my Fit!

With all the cars I've had to date, I have to say that the Fit is the nicest of them all and I thoroughly enjoy driving it. It's funny though, when I compare it to my last car - a 1988 Lincoln Towncar.

The Fit responds to even the smallest of input to the steering wheel when you could give the Lincoln's steering wheel 1/3 of a turn and it would still go straight! LOL I just dropped my son off at a friend's house up in the "hill towns" and the road is quite curvy and steep and the little Fit just refuses to let go of the road! The Lincoln, on the other hand, if I were on the same bumpy, curvy roads, it would literally bounce to the outside of the curve which can be nerve racking.

My son likes the Fit but said he misses the comfort of the Lincoln.

Here's the Lincoln the day I brought her home. She was nice "back in the day" but am so happy to have gotten rid of her and into my Fit.

What part of comfort is your son referring to, the seats or the ride?

Wow that is quite a change in riding style but just think of the gas money you are saving with the Fit. Good to hear that you still love your car! I've had mine for almost three years and I love it more than the day I brought it home.

I guess both. The suspension was real soft as well as the seats. The seats were way too soft as you really sunk in. The only good part to that was the electric seats also went up and down...
