Two days and and can't get here 90% of the time. Did I miss the memo?

I think they were having major problems the last few days but it seems like whatever was the problem has been fixed. I have been a member here since 02/07 and it was sad to see it kicking you off or not letting you log in. The old moderators would have posted up a note saying what was the problem and letting us know it got fixed - nothing from anyone on this one though. I missed my Fit Freak peeps so happy that it is working better today.

There were people posting issues like this over in the general talk section. There has been ongoing problems for a while and I think it is progressively getting worse. It started as people just not being able to get to the main page. For me it seems that I can browse the site until I log in. Then everything goes downhill from there.

Same here, wasn't able to see the front page for weeks, and yesterday I didn't have a chance at all to see anything!

top of page notice (don't know when it appeared). Denial of service attack seemed most likely.

We really want to apologize for the downtime suffered over the last two days. Unfortunately our Internet Brands network was targeted with a series of cyber attacks that severely limited access over this time period. Our tech team has worked around the clock to resolve the issue. We absolutely appreciate your patience and understanding and do apologize for the inconvenience caused by the attack.
as a noob here I appreciate the light touch of mods and how well everyone gets along. kumbayah....

But they really need to fix the home page:
Warning: require_once(./includes/vba_global_error.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in [path]/includes/functions.php(2851) : eval()'d code on line 1

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/vba_global_error.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/fitfreak.net/forums/includes/functions.php(2851) : eval()'d code on line 1

Make a new bookmark

It seems that fitfreak.net has problems, but any other link in the site works fine, at least for me.

I just use https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/ and no problems.

I kind of wondered if Fitfreak was suffering from a DOS attack yesterday, as it kept getting slower and slower. Glad to see the problem has been resolved. Hats off to the admins for acknowledging/explaining/resolving the problem. Far too many people involved in computer security try to sweep problems under the rug. Stuff happens.
