2010 Delivery Time

I have searched the forums and not found the answer i am looking for so i decided to post a new thread.

I just put money down on my 2010 fit sport and it is sitting in California on the docks.

The car was assigned to my dealership on the 3rd of November. Does anyone know how long until the cars head to the dealerships once they are assigned? and how long the transit time is to Nebraska?

Thanks, I can't wait to get my first brand new car.

pretty fast I would imagine. The copy I have was manufactured in July and I bought and drove off the lot here in GA August 11.

You should have paid for next day shipping.

kidding.

Finally here

Well My new fit is supposed to come on the truck today. 20days.

I cant wait to pick it up. The only problem is the dealer said it wont be ready until Wednesday???? does it take a day and a half to prep a car?

The only thing they are adding to the car are floor mats.

Maybe this is normal and i'm just being impatient,
maybe they are behind since it is a holiday week,
or maybe they are not worried about my car since it is already purchased?.?

Who knows, I just want my fit!!!

Yo, Stampede, the dealer told him it was on the lot. He's having kittens waiting for dealer prep and delivery. Get with the program.

i think they're just telling you that just so that they can make sure several potential customers can ride it (test drive it) beforehand.

hahaha. not sure, but it can happen.

That better not be the case, this is my first new car. For that matter, its my first car with less than 100,000 miles on it when I bought it.

Anyways. Got a call from the dealer last night and they will have it ready at six tonight, a whole day early.

So grand total the transtit time to Nebraska has been 21 Days from the time it hit the docks in California, till I sign the papers tonight.

I can't wait. I just hope it doesn't snow in the next few weeks so i can get a lot of driving in!!!

whoa calm down, i was just giving my experience with a similar situation i had.

because he said it was sitting in CA. for mine i was getting updates on where it was before I got to pick it up. example it was in CA first from japan, to Oregon, to Nebraska, to Georgia. and finally to the dealership to where i bought it. it was like off schedule by like 2 weeks in my case.
