J's Racing for the GE

hey folks, are J's Racing parts for the GE already available in the States? it seems a bit hard to look for parts especially for the GE except at J'S RACING JAPAN. i wanted to get Strut Bars but one of the shops here in our place told me that what he can get me would be for RHD GEs only and if i would like to put one in my LHD GE, i'd have to drill some holes into my chassis. true or not?

and if there would be anybody here putting some J's Racing stuff in their GE, post up here. i'd like to know which are available already.

if you have any comments as well about J's Racing parts, let me know. i kinda feel they're a bit over-priced but aren't everything else is? lol

thanks!

Someone here already narrated his experience with J's Racing's muffler for the GD...if memory serves he said it was a high-priced piece of crap Try searching for it, that thread isn't too old yet.

Maybe you can have the exhaust fabricated locally so you can have better durability while keeping cost down. Just make sure you go to a reputable muffler maker.

If J's did have parts for USDM GE8s would they be a guaranteed fit for ours? I mean, we're still basically getting non-USDM units with the steering wheel on the wrong side.

actually J's may NOT know how to weld Titanium properly (very very few shops can) That was the complaint in that thread!
Otherwise I think their quality is good to excellent.

hey JM, that's why i'd like to know if there are already parts available in the US since most if not all should fit ours. kinda seldom see GE's here at the forums with J's parts too. and yeah, i've read about that already. have no plans of putting an exhaust anyway. i dont like how it looks as well. lol

So has anyone answered the question or are we turning into yet another useless forum where questions do not get answered? I am interested in finding a place to get the J's Rear x-brace set-up as well. It requires no cutting of the rear panel. If anyone has any insight let us know. If nothing else I will start contacing shops out in Cali to see if they can get it and ship it.

check these guys out:
HOME - SPEEDSTAR.COM

they are THE ABSOLUTE JDM importers for Toronto but they do ship to the states as well. Every month they get a whole trailer load of parts coming in. I guarantee you they will be able to get the part for you but it will take a month to come in coming from Japan.

shop owners here are saying that it doesnt. you would have to re-drill holes to your body for it to fit.
