Correct rims and tires.

hi guys.. i also own a GE8, i would like to ask the people who have very low FITs on what is the perfect or correct offset of rims so that you wont have any fender rubbing issues..

my fit is running 17 x 7.5 tires are 205 45 r17 falken.

offset of my rims is +48

but sometimes i get rubbing issues on the front whenever i make a hard turn.. specially when the road is not leveled.. what can i do about this issue?

im using coilovers for my ride..

and id really hate to lift the height higher.. i like the way it looks alot.. but what can i do, so that i wouldnt have to raise the height of the car as a last resort..

in front i can barely fit 1 finger in between the tires and the fender, and for the rear, 1 1/2 finger can fit...

what to do? thanks in advance guys..

have you tried camber bolts? The place the fit rubs the worst in the front, is almost right behind the headlight, there is a bulge there with a pop-it and behind it is a metal bracket that holds up the fender liner.

If you move the top of the tire inward some you may be able to get away from it.

Turn the radio up...

Or just roll the fenders, takes a couple of minutes.

Wouldn't it make sense to ask questions before buying parts and modding to prevent such issues?

Should've went with 205/40/17.

are you rubbing on the actual fender or are you just rubbing the underlining? If its the underlining then just cut it
