I used JB weld to attach the solar lids to the projector.
Thanks for the good words guys, I really wanted the OEM look and I think I got it! I do have quite a few hours in this job, thats for sure. Not counting looking online for parts, etc., as that's really the only way to come across steals like I found ($40 for a pair of FX35s!!) The actual time of opening, cutting, aligning, painting was about 8 hours, but this is my first retro. I probably had 3 hours in wiring, but I wanted it all to look OEM. Ballasts are mounted under the lights, and Toyotas are waterproofed so no worries there, which is good since this is my daily, I have a Miata in the garage for fun times...

Very good job with the Retro, sometime in the future I'll like send my headlights out for a retrofit. Really not keen on doing it myself.
They look 100% OE, and it blends very well with the chrome housing. The cutoff looks great too, and I'm sure night drive is a 1000% better!
