Lol dont do it....those cars are designed to have moonroofs yours it not Ive done it before just leaks and headaches...

Best bet is to go with an aftermarket one installed by a pro but yah buckets of money for that but they have warranties...

And are you really ready to take a saw to your roof?

You dont want to add weight to the roof.

yeah, i know the dealership can do it.. but they're asking 1,500. i'd rather dump that money into better things (performances) than a moon roof. the moon roof is a nice accessory that i would love to have but i can live without one...
so i figured i'll brainstorm other less conventional ways.

so... to conclude... its a no go for scrap moon roofs lol.

Quite a few people have done moonroofs, I'm sure most of them paid under $1000 installed either Webasto or Inalfa (search those terms you will see plenty of info)

I think the most was about $1100 and that was a FULL SKY ROOF that opens.

*DROOLS* sky roof? damn, see now i find that sexy for some odd reason.. but for less than 1000??! damn i hate my dealership ppl. they're try'n to milk every penny!

i talked to a professional moon roof installer.. he said dont even bother.. over time they leak(few years), which in turn gives you fat headaches.

guess no moon roof for me then..
thanks everyone for your 2cents!
