Anyone use a Broadway Rear View Mirror

Those that do, do you notice how it shakes a LOT?

If you take it off.. the normal rear view mirror is okay.
But once you attach the Broadway, while you are driving it seems to shake quite a bit. (I think this is due to the mirror being so small and flimsy... looks like the bottoms of the mirror really dont get a good grab)

Any ideas on a fix? Padding maybe?

Haven't noticed an issue with mine but I'm in a first gen. Seems the rearview in the GE would shake more because it's coming straight off the glass and doesn't have a shock absorber like the GD3 design.

Maybe try some padding between the mirrors, or a thick bead of silicone.

I have some other bigass mirror that my GF got me from QVC years ago. I can't seem to find it anymore. Steady as a rock fitting over my 09 sport RVM. It really makes a difference with blind spots- there is none

Once you put this sucker on, you can't go back. If I can find a link to the mirror, I'll post it.

I think spring of grab is damaged..

What size broadway is everyone using? I want to go as big as possible without impeding the sun visors.. anyone have a problem fitting 300mm or bigger?

Also,
What do you think? Convex or flat? Tinted or not?
Thanks for the help!

Maybe I am missing something here, but could you explain why one would use a mirror like that with such a small back glass? The stock mirror shows all of the rear window, so what would the advantage be if you can't see more than the rear window, which is already at 100%?

I use a 300mm flat non tinted broadway. Imo it is the best size for all cars, not to big, not to small just perfect. I use to have a 240mm but that was too small so I gave it to my mom.

you've got a point. But for me, sometimes I dont sit in the same exact position and with the stock mirror you may lose a chunk of vision in the rear view mirror, even if you look at it a different angle. Being able to see the rear seats and stuff ensures that you're seeing the whole back window no matter what position you sit in or how much you turn your head to look at the mirror. I noticed that all stock rear view mirrors only show the whole back window if your head is in the perfect position.

Mine shakes a little, but it doesn't bother me that much. The GE8's chassis is pretty stiff, so I kind of expected it.

But that's just me So be easy!! no one attack me for my opinion!!! Lol but I am actually gonna get a 4-5 panel rearview mirror !!!
