White wheels, opinions please!

Just found the following wheels and just wanted to get any opinions. I think they would look great on my white sport.

18 Inch White ADR SZ1 4x100 4x4.5

I think those would look good. Would look better if you actually painted them the same white as the car. Like the white/white look but think it looks bad when the wheels don't quite match the color of the car.

I'm not really big into cosmetic only improvements. So wheels do little to nothing for me, except to consider that a lighter alloy wheel will improve mileage.

That being said, I think someone had posted a picture with a TW fit sport where they tried on a white wheel, and I think it looked good...

It's in this posting: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...fit-sport.html

Hmmm maybe I should take off my hubcabs and go with the black of the steelies! (Actually I saw a photo where someone seems to have done that, and yes, it did look good..)

If it fits your taste then I say get it.. But I too second the notion of getting 17s instead of 18s..

JDMchris.com's sig just saved me the trouble of searching for pics as a reference. I think it works just as well as black wheels on black body.

As mentioned above, you'll want the white to match, otherwise yer gonna be fingered as low rent.

another vote for 17" over 18" wheels. I like the white/white look... but they do have to match.

As far as white on white, I think they would look good. The polished lip will break up the white, so you may not notice if they are not the same color white. I agree with Niko, 17's are the best size. You will need to lower your car too, I think you said it was stock right now.

Yes it is stock and I'm thinking just like you on the polished lip. I'm thinking the price is really right at $122. I have some tires that will work so the cost is minimal. I know that I need to transfer the TPMS, but that's ok. I'm in the south and cleaning and keeping them clean will be my motivation. Here are two other wheels I'm considering;

Black, (I plan on window tint) $101 each 17"

Gold/Bronze, Rich but not too pretensious $101 each 17"

I kinda don't like the look of the spokes....you might want to look into the rims that tenzo-R has. I know a lot of people don't like those rims, but I think they have some pretty sexy looking ones!

Funny you mention that and the person as well beforehand. Since he is using the Time Attack white CE28s, which are actually more close in color to NH-0 (Championship White) you can see they look very different in color to the white of the Fit. So being that they are Volk Racing CE28s and the white is off, should he be fingered as low rent? I would have to say a resounding NO. On that note, I remember when my friend purchased Works for his DC5R back on Okinawa, he wanted the MF10s like I had on my DC5R, but didn't want to look the same, his white was way off from the NH-0 and it didn't look that good to me at all. Still wouldn't finger him as low rent though.

I will always like white on white, but much prefer bronze on white, though I will be getting another set of RE30s in white with red lip eventually so I can switch up from bronze and white as I see fit, just need to check with Rays to determine which of the 3 whites they offer most closely resembles the Premium White Pearl. But will stay with 16s, because I actually beat the piss out of the slow vehicle. 18's look a little too large, at least in my opinion, just look at JookyBanana's vehicle, though others will say it looks great. 17s would be the largest I would go if I couldn't get 16s, but then might just go with 15s, though 15s on the GE chassis looks really small.

18s will give you a headache, go 17s instead...otherwise no complaints from me

Do note that white wheels are magnets for dirt and brake dust. Yes looking good has its price.

I would love some white wheels for my BBP!

I'm usually a fan of most colored wheels, and I'm a sucker for wrx's with gold rims!!!

Go for it!!
