It seemed like a decent deal and the dealer was very straight forward with the price quote. Other nearby dealers made me jump though hoops to even get a price quote well above this.

I can't wait for it to come in.
I have almost the exact same offer on my table, and Im here in MA as well. What dealer did you get this quote from?

No dealer add-on accessories.

Went to Honda.com and built my own 2010 Fit. Car was $17,260 with $710 destination charge (no accessories)..............total $17,970.

So you may see an MSRP difference of around $400 between the '09 & '10.

Since buying mine, I have started taking notice to used Fit's in dealer ads.........they seem to be priced high enough that I would just go ahead and buy a new one.

wow. I got in just before cfc and had a pre-arranged clunker deal that we transacted on day 1 of clunkers. 16500 (including dest.) 2009 sport manual. that required some hard negotiating but the dealer had a pile of them on the lot at that time, and we had done our homework.

Last week (9/19/09) I purchased a 2009 Fit Sport for $14700, or $15300 (will the dealer fee amount), plus tax, tag, title. The vehicle is used (less than 6K miles) but is in like new condition. I've gone thru it in detail and only found one or two minor issues. So far I'm glad I didn't purchase new. The dealer original internet price was $16599 plus $599 dealer fee. Color is the dark blue.

Looked at CarMax used prices, but they seemed very high for used vehicles.

I got mine on last day of c4c I paid almost full msrp but I figured I was making them rush to get everything done in 1 day and I knew what their invoice was so a couple hundred was no big deal... oh and it was the last M/T base fit I could find in the area...
I didnt tell them that but they basically knew since they had 60 of them the month before... thats what every dealer said is they had allot in stock last month but were all out at end of c4c.
