well my last car did not have a low fuel warning, so I've been accustomed to not waiting that long. so far my fillups are 377,744 and 10404. I don't memorize the fuel-up amounts but they average to 36, 36, and 38.7mpg... and I thought I was driving the thing like I stole it. so three fillups, only one hit the light and they have all been above 350 (I think?? or at least could have).

not a great question to ask, its all subjective what a full tank is; how far you drive it down, how much you or the autocap let the tank fill.

I drive my 09 AT sport around 350 miles as well. I've been filling up when the light comes on usually. Do the paddle shifters help gas mileage at all? I haven't used mine much, but if I get better mileage by shifting at the correct time, I may start using them.

642 km, which is equivalent to 385 miles with 90% city driving.

Now I don't need to put in more than 9 gallons into the car, but I'm getting around 260 a tank, and around 33 MPG. My commute is really hilly, so that might be the reason for a semi-low MPG return.

also really hilly commute, get about 340 miles per tank. Usually somewhere around 9.xx gallons to refill.

First tank....354 and took exactly 10.0 to top it off. Third tank, zippy driving and A/C most of the time...360 and again 10.0. In my case..when the warning light on, I need to be within 5-6 miles of a gas pump. Only a little over the thou mark, pretty cool car so far.

I only get about 310 per tank, but I always fill at about a quarter of a tank. I don't ever wait for the gas light to come on.

geez some of you guys are rocking it. grated i have a gd3, but my car has a bigger tank than the ge8 and the mileage ratings are close enough.

while most of my drive is highway, its usually around 70mph. but 280-300 mile tanks are what i'm used to seeing. best ever was right around 400, using cruise a lot on a drive to florida.

I'm only slightly better at 260.

I average about 70-80mph on the freeway. That's probably why.

If you guys notice, the Fits in California get LOWER mpgs/miles for some reason.

Maybe because of the special emissions requirements in Cali?
