Where can I get cruise control for my manual 2009 base

I was told by collegehills that cruise is available for 2007 and 2008. Does anyone know when it will be available for 2009?

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking cruise control is a feature that is normally only useful with automatic transmissions?? I could be wrong, but the only time I've seen them is in vehicles with auto?

Cruise control works with AT or MT; I had it on my early 1980's Accord. That said, retrofitting factory CC to a car that didn't come with it is a non-trivial installation. I inquired about CC when we bought a Mazda MPV in the late 1980's, and the cost was prohibitive. If you wanted CC, you should have gotten a Sport.

I got it as a gift when my husband traded in his clunker which was a mt 95 trooper that had cruise control added after it was bought. I have found cc for base fits for 2007 and 2008 and it runs around 300.00. I haven't found it for 2009. I have always driven mts and each one has had cc. I want it so that my fit will be even more green

I've got Cruise Control with my Fit Manual... and it's actually more responsive and useful than my 99 civic.

I dont get all these people that buy Base's and then spend hundreds of dollars adding cruise control, foglights, and other things. Often that has already exceeded the cost of the Sport.

A sport has trouble fitting up my driveway due to the lower-than-base body kit. What fits many does not fit all.

I'm a little interested in cruise control now that I live in the US, where speed limits are much lower, and traffic flows much slower -- albeit more smoothly.

Before I bought my Base Fit I was looking at Toyota Yaris. Some guy on Yaris Forum discovered that all the Yaris's come with Cruise in the computer (and "idiot lights" to support it mounted and wired into instrument cluster!). He just bought a couple low voltage intermittent contact switches and connectors for under $10 and was able to get functional Cruise Control!
Anybody on this Forum got access to Honda Wiring Diagrams that would let us do this on Fit???
(Sounds like the Remote Keyles Entry option that Honda sells for $300 installed but you can do yourself in 5 minutes by purchasing a $40 key!)

You can do a lot of stuff and stay under $1510.

Aluminum wheels and summer tires: $1000
Keyless entry: $23
Winter tires on stock steel wheels: $300
Tint: $200
Swaybar: $200
Total: $1723

If I had gone Sport I would have added:
Summer tires: $525
Tint: $200
Winter tires and wheels: $450
Total: $1175

So I have $962 left to play with compared to buying a Sport, and the only thing I'm missing is Cruise Control. And I've gained no side skirts or rear spoiler and gray seats. Even if I wanted things like fog lights, usb connection, and armrest I'd still have more than enough money to add them.

Sport resale value is $750-$1000 more than a base for the first 2-3 years, but after that they get pretty close, so I'm still money ahead with a car I like more.
