Im 6ft 6, 220 lbs...tall/athletic and fit...and I fit perfect in the 09 FIT...actually, I'm totally impressed with the seats and it even has an arm rest and the headrest is perfect!
Great job. In the Honda FIT, I have more room then most larger cars.
I love the 5spd, so fun to Drive!

I'm 5'11 and I'm settling into the fit. There's nothing wrong with trying different positions for a while until you find the right one. Is this sounding weird?! For the first week of ownership, my right foot was a bit too bent on the gas pedal, and I thought that was a good position until I realized I'd never be able to keep that bent up foot for the long haul. I moved the seat back and telescoped the steering wheel and now I have a much more natural angle to my right foot- much better for longer drives. I'm sure not everyone will feel the same, but I think you have enough flexibility between the steering wheel and the seat to hit your spot. And I think the stock armrest is great. I feel bad for the lack of one for the passengers, but oh well- I got mine! And since I'm doing the work driving, that's what counts. Plenty of head room too. I felt right at home immediately.

If you really need headroom, check out he Nissan Cube.

I'm 5'12 ~200lbs and fit well in the Fit! I'm not sure how much I would like the seats on a long drive though. The only problem is the width and a manual, I'm sometimes hitting the passenger in the knee when changing gears.

I'm 5'15" and I fit in my Fit quite well.

Wished I had a little more legroom since my legs are longer, it seems. The legroom issue is only annoying on long drives because my base Fit doesn't have cruise control.
