Looking nice, now you need a new shift boot to mate up to the new knob. Contact Jason from AJ, they are like $35 for either red or blue stiching.

I was thinking of going with ShiftStyles (or however they spell it) because then I can get leather which will match the Clazzios and the Steering Wheel. (was even thinking of doing one of their custom boots with both regular leather and perf leather and black stitching)

Yeah, that will most likely come in the spring. Thinking about Progress Springs. Also am going to get a front strut bar and install at the same time. So I may get those and then save up for the install.

I'm just so excited with her progress and am enjoying her so much. I also am so happy to have such a supportive and understanding family! I've been working odd jobs for extra $$ and saving all my extra cash (xmas, bday) for the mods. Also, I got those Fit things for Christmas, which was AWESOME! (C Pillar, Knob, Red H's, GPS).

The C pillar rod makes a great clothes hanger too. Well that is what I use mine for. Being a hobbiest I have a small razor saw which did a nice job of cutting the covers.

Clazzios coming eh? You will like them.

Aight, it was finally warm enough to tackle the H's outside...

Got the front on just fine...

But the back looked a little small so I checked the part number listed on the GE8 Emblem DIY on here...apparently icbmotorsport uses a different part number. I called them up and told them about it. I'm shipping my smaller one back to them, and they will ship me the new (slightly larger) one with the part number that everyone else on here seems to be using. Buuut, unfortunately, I had already taken the back emblem off so for now my ass looks like this...

Up next is Springs (probably SWIFT) and getting that rear diffuser painted black.

That will come with the money from keeping clock/score at local basketball games and part of my tax refund. (maybe also some little stuff like a new shift boot)

After that, Electronic Throttle Controller, OEM center console, Progress RSB, Front Strut bar (not sure what brand), and well...the list keeps going ;-)

Looking good. Which shift boot do you think you will end up with? The stock one is such a cheap piece, but what can you expect in a car inside this price range.

I just realized, the USDM Fit has that shoulder belt for the rear middle passenger. I actually like it without plus it saves about 2~3 lbs. hahahaha

LOL at weight savings--I hate how it looks so I keep it tucked up there.

I think I'm going to go with ...:::: Shift Style :::: Home
They make custom boots for reasonable prices--there is thread here about it.

I was thinking them because then I could get leather and perf leather combo to match the Clazzios--thought that'd look sweet. It'd be around $39.00-- Any thoughts/ideas?

The one I want--two tone with black leather and black perforated leather is $39.00

I think just regular leather is $35.00

But they have all sorts of color (leather and suede) and stitching options

Which Fit are they making for? I would have to assume the GD since it's been around longer. I forgot I asked you this already and you gave the same answer. I do like their amount of choices available for all aspects of the boot.

I believe the one they made was for the GE because a GE member had theirs sent in for a sample--I'll look for the thread.

Francisco, I believe that resetmotorsports has them for $455
