Thanks. Yes, the Ford did go through alot.
Car camping trips.
Towing a 1986 Honda ATC 250R (AKA the three wheel death machine)
Helped my wife and I move several times.
It will be missed, but we are looking forward to great times with our Fit.
Thanks to all for a great reception.

The thread has gotten maybe a thousand hits in the past few days. And I know all those hits weren't me.
I'm kind of hoping that maybe potential buyers (whether they are trading for a FIT or a Honda or some other car) as well as dealers (no matter what they sell) and maybe even the government or other officials or news people are checking to see what the experience is like for "the average person".
Not that there IS an "average person"...
Post whatever you want about your experience. Anything that has to do with the CARS program, time at the dealer, etc. I posted a few questions that you can answer or ignore. Those were just to get started. You can tell us how and/or when you chose the dealer, the FIT over other cars, or even what the salesperson was wearing. Were they nice, stressed, panicky? Did they know what to do, or were they confused? Whatever you want to mention might be helpful for anyone who comes along and reads that thread.
