My options were $46 to cut stock axel back and reattach to stub end of pipe. $68 to add a flange so it bolts on to B pipe and $95 to add a new tip having a complete replacement. I went for the $95
Not much louder, loudest might be going 45 in MT 5th (2K RPM) and going WOT, as RPM increases it gets quieter. Very low muscular tone IMO, you can get a little decel pop. But nothing like my TT RX7 or my snowmobile where flames can shoot out of the exhaust

well kyle, seems like you are going for #1 troll and thread hijacker here in the 2nd gen section. Why would it be worth responding to?
I mean the dozen or so good friends I have made here I suspect would regard me as a complete straight shooter who does not BS about anything.
Other than those guys, I am not so inclined to give a crap, with the exception of if I can help somebody with an issue, I'll usually chime in with some help.

Hahaha jk
I try to troll everywhere.
I don't troll all the time either, I just tell people the truth.
There have been many threads where I praise GE owners. There have also been many threads where I troll GD owners.

prolly just moody to the mf'er comment as she died a year and 3 days ago.
and the RX7 brings back some not so fun thoughts as I bought it new when they first came out I modded it way too much (the full Peter Farrell Supercar and then some)blowing numerous apex seals, burnt a rotor housing. sold it in 99 when we decided to do the 2nd foreign adoption. I actually wanted a 300ZX but the dealer in Hoffman Estates was such a dick, they wanted a $300 deposit before a test drive. A much better car than the RX7.
Back to the topic, if the aftermarket does not want to give us many GE aftermarket options, screw em, the stock catback delete is actually pretty nice. thx qb and ash. You cant beat it for whatever $40-95 variation you go for. Love the cost effective mods, for the dough I wasted on the x-7 I could have given a 3rd orphan a half way decent home.

Your Rx7 sounded pretty beastly.

YouTube - Honda Fit Race Exhaust
YouTube - Honda Fit Straight Pipe Drive By
I drove my GD3 with it like that for weeks before I got the T1R 50S on...now it's just loud when I get on it, rather than constant racket with the straight pipe, although I admit it sounds sweet and makes awesome popping noises decellerating.
It's funny, the popping is caused by unburnt fuel exploding in the exhaust pipe, it's just vapors so it doesn't have any serious side effects but it just goes to show you how changing the exhaust messes with the tuning your car, because left stock or tuned with aftermarket exhaust, it wouldn't pop. Unless the car had some cheap-ass glass pack muffler, but in that case the person probably wouldn't spend the money on a pro-tune anyway.

I've had a cheap ass glass pack on my car for 3 years.... One of these days I might get around to putting a not so cheap ass glass pack on it..... I'm just cheap ass, but I have money in the bank and don't have a credit card balance... All Fits back fire during the Vtec transition when decelerating..... You just don't hear it with a chambered muffler unless it's real quiet and your listening.
