wheels on GE

Just wanted to ask.

What is the biggest and widest wheels that can be installed to a GE using stock springs and shocks? recommended offset for front and rear?

17 inch and 205?

My issue is that my 3 year warranty will be void if I install lowering springs or coil overs.

thanks

your warranty will not be voided, unless the aftermarket thing you put in is the direct result of a problem. example: install a cold air intake and hydrolock. But I don't know where Abu Dhabi UAE is and if its weird like portugal and illegal to do any type of modding.

17s with 205-width tire tread are good on a GE. Just not too sure of the sidewall profile.

A friend of mine ran 17x7.0 +43 RAYS G07WT wheels on his GE6 and he didn't have rubbing problems.

Did quite a bit of reseach before deciding on the set of wheels and tires on the car right now.

We installed a set of Gram Light 57 Optimise alloy wheels (17" x 7.5" with +43 offset) and Bridgestone 205/45 x 17 tires. Added camber bolts in the front suspension and set the camber at -0.7 degrees. Absolutely no tire/fender rubbing issues even with 4 adults on board.

Damn, that looks nice. Is that Gunmetal Blue? First time I've seen the color with silver and it's a better match than I imagined.

I'm looking into getting RAYS Gram Lights 57G wheels myself, same color.

Hi Type 100! It's called "light grey painted".
Check this link: Gram Lights 57Optimise Light Grey Painted
I best describe the color as grey with a bluish hue; yes, gunmetal blue is probably close.

I checked with RAYS' website - those definitely are Gunmetal Blue. RAYS ALL PRODUCTS LINE UP 2009

Tire Rack seems to rename some wheel colors.

Thanks again!

There's no limit on how big of a wheel you can fit....

It all just depends on your taste and what you're going for
