easy answer? NO.

Detailed answer: The reason why it will not hold is because stock wheels use conical shaped lug nuts to hold it (it's like a dome shaped) whereas aftermarket wheels and lug nuts use acorn style lug nuts (looks like a point). So u will have mininal contact with the wheels and the lug nuts. It's also a safety factor because since they are not seated properly, they will wiggle around and come loose while ur driving!!

I agree. I was planning to use aftermarket lug nuts on my stock wheels before but a local car shop informed me not to do it for same exact reasons.

You can look for aftermarket lugnuts with ball-shaped heads I guess. I don't know how hard that would be, though. Most of 'em are tapered.

Locking aftermarket lugs are available with the ball seat (Gorilla). One would think you can find them in various aftermarket formats that cater to the Fit.
