plastx on the visor panel

plastx on the visor panel

Hello all, so i did it this week end, I polished the pastic of the fit gauge panel, I took some pictures, so...

before
first I clened it, then I put some maskin tape on the edges

and the result is this....
I hope that you can see the details

another one

yes I think so, you can see the scratches on the gas gauge area, and then it looks better, I think that it works fine

I put them in "big" size because I thought it could be better to see the details, but I´ll resize them later and put them again

Did you use Meguiars Plastx? I've been looking for something to get those annoying scratches out.

nice gauges... how'd you get them to be amber? was it the whole cluster...? I've been wanting to convert it to that..

Nice. I might do this in the future as my gaugues get more scratched up.

I'd recommend NOT using PLASTX on your JDM Access Window Visors. I had minor hazing on mine when I bought the visors so I thought I'd try PLASTX. WAY too abrasive for the visor's soft plastic. I'd recommend the Meguiar's Plastic Polish #17/#10 instead.

nice gauges... how'd you get them to be amber?
It´s amber because I´m in Mexico, the cars come in ambers here in Mexico, if you see in the picture with the maskin tape the speed metter is in Km/H

I´ll take some pictures to the fit to show you my car, it´s different from the us model.
