Can anyone with Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs give me feeback on it? How's the drop and is it smooth? I'm planning on getting these installed at Les Schwab in a couple of days but I wanna get some honest feedback before I realize that it was a mistake..

Just thought I would throw that out there if you were interested. From what I have read about the Eibach Pro-kits people tend to like them. The T1R springs give a nice drop as well.

 

Yeaah, the T1R's come close too but I've read some posts saying that there's a 'thud' sound when they go over speed bumps..yeah..not good haha

 

I'm looking into the J's Racing or Mugen Showa set-up myself.

 

You already have my opinion from your other thread...you WILL feel more of the road compared to stock, but it's not gonna bust yer kidneys or anything like that. If you dig the twisties it's a definite improvement over stock. With proper tire pressure you'll have a smile on yer face in the canyons/open desert.

You will also get a smile on yer face when they roll it off the rack and appreciate it's new demeanor. Yeah, it's a fit, but it looks so much better/different dropped.

It's not like these things have a tight BMW like ride already ya know? And it aint gonna handle quite like a shiny new Mazda MX5, but it's a fairly inexpensive upgrade that's actually an UPGRADE.

Don't sweat it dude...you won't be kickin' yerself in the arse after it's done.

You're making this decision a whole lot easier

 

iLUVYOURGE8, I have dropped 3 of our cars with Eibach Pro-Kits.
Simply put, Pro-Kits give you a mild-drop and improved handling.

T1Rs and Tanabe DF210s give you a more aggressive drop, but the DF210s offer a more comfortable ride over the T1R. Drop and stance of both these springs are approximately the same (DF210s have an even drop).

I was fortunate to road test a GE8 with T1R springs before deciding on what to buy and am really happy with my choice...Tanabe DF210.

I still want my Fit to look pretty aggressive as well as a comfortable ride. It seems as I have to give up one or the other in this case..
I guess I just have to answer what matters the most; a comfortable ride or an aggressive look?

I would go with the DF's but the comments that people made saying that the front looks high is keeping from doing so..

And as for the T1R's..ehh..I've read a post saying there were 'thud' sounds when they go off a speed bump though so I don't know if that's the springs fault or just his car..lol
