How to install Fit Sport armrest to Basic???

Have anyone tried installing OEM Fit Sport armrest on to Fit Basic seat?
Are they the same seat?

I would simply feel around the area where the factory armrest is mounted. If the hardware is embedded inside the seat of your base Fit, then go ahead and start cutting. If not (which I don't think it is), at least you haven't destroyed your seat for no good reason.

I have looked inside, but still have no idea what additional parts I need to attach the armrest. .
I already have all the parts from a FIT Sport

The mounting location must be there, there are only two replacement drivers seats available one in black one in gray and it's for the base and sport.

Well that explains it--the black cloth seat belonging to the sport has the cut out and mounting spot and the grey cloth seat belonging to the base has no cutout, so it's impossible on the base without upgrading the seat, unless it does indeed have a mounting spot and you just have to cut the fabric to get to it.

Base Seat
04815-TK6-A01ZA COVER SET, L. TRIM (SIDE AIRBAG) NH747L: KIRABI GRAY

Sport Seat
04815-TK6-A21ZA COVER SET, L. TRIM (SIDE AIRBAG) NH719L: KIRABI EU BLACK

I thought this was rather strange-both seat types cost exactly the same: $199.14

Makes me think they both are the same and you just have to cut fabric to access the mounting location--nobody knows until somebody does it. Anyone need an exacto? lol

Go the cup holder ZETA. Apprantly they are an inch higher and extend a couple more inches. I find the stock one on my Sport too low. Makes me keep hand in proper position on the wheel as cannot rest elbow.

Or if you're willing to pay a little more, with a little bit of work involved...
