Replaced stock horn with 2 Fiamms
Today I finally deep sixed the pathetic stock horn on my 09
FIt Sport .
I put in 2 Fiamm (72002) horns , low & hi pitch .
I got them at Princess Auto for $12 Can each but you can also find them here .Google Image Result for http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41HAHV38P7L._SL500_SS90_.jpg
and the results
are amazing .
It now sounds exactly like the horns from my (former) 99
Pontiac Grand Prix !!
Install was easy .
Remove the plastic radiator cover (pop up screws) , disconnect the
horn wire from the horn , cut off it's connector and then remove the horn (10 mm nut) .
Use the mount bracket that comes with the FIamm horn and attach it to the stock horn's mounting location .
With the 2nd horn , I attached it to the bracket for the air bag sensor(?) .

In the last pic , you can see the red wire coming out from the wire
conduate(sp?) . This is where I cut the blue stock horn wire (single) just
behind it's connector .
I soldered a long section of wire that would reach the connector on the
horn that was mounted on the stock bracket .
On this piece of wire , I shaved a section of it's insulation off and then
piggybacked a shorter piece of wire with a female connector on the end to
take power to the second horn .
All wire cuts/joints were soldered and shrink wrapped .
Grounds were easy .
The Fiamm's come with a black wire that has female connector on one end and a round , washer like end on it (see hardware in horn pic) on the other end .
Put the washer end over the bolt in the center of the horn , screw it down with the supplied nut and attach it's other end to either male mount on the horn .
Do the same to both ends , hook up the power ends , replace the radiator
cover and you are done .
Here's a sound bit .
Notice how the blast startles the camera operator and the camera
picture shakes
