Almost all the Priuses (Prii?) I see are blasting past in the far left lane. It's the rare one that's being babied for mileage.

And please explain what you mean when you say "over inflating tires". Inflation to max pressure as found on the sidewall is not over inflation, no matter what the manufacturer puts on the door jamb.

- Inflating a tire to the tire's max pressure isn't overinflating.
- I'm not driving slower then [sic] traffic. I am traffic.
- Slipping the clutch is bad for everything, including mileage. I've never seen anyone recommend this.
- Neutral is no more or less dangerous than anything else.

I had to get gas yesterday morning so I was running a few minutes late. I had to be one of the faster cars on the highway the whole way in and only got 43.0 mpg for the trip. It pissed me off because I hate starting a tank off with bad numbers.
