Can you post pictures of that install? The pictures in the ebay listing are hard to see. How is it that only the plate holder needs to come off for this install? Looks like it's installed behind the body opening.
Oh...this looks like a full thingy that installs in FRONT of and onto the body opening. Hmmmm.
No, I think it's behind the grille. I'm confused with this one because of only needing to remove the plate holder.

Haven't used it but it's behind the existing grill from the only good picture they posted. Don't see how they can make that claim...you need to remove the shroud above the grill and to make it even more accessible the grill too...both easy to do but they are blowin smoke regarding removing only the license plate holder.

A small pebble took out my condenser grill as well. I fixed it myself as cheaply as possible. Here's how it broke down:
$99 condenser on ebay with $24 shipping = $124
two cans of freon from autozone = $18
purchase r134 gauge manifold on craigslist = $20
purchase r134a vac unit from Harbor Freight = $15
Total cost = $177

I saw on Keith Oberman this week a family driving in their fit hit a coyote and when they arrived at their destination he was alive and in the grill.
They found him when they opened the hood. He went through the opening where the condensers are being taken out.
Now come on honda you need to have some kind of recall for a fix. When you can fit a coyote in the fricken grill there is a problem.

2011 Jazz lower grille?
Apparently just lost the A/C condenser on my 2011 Fit (7,000 mi) to road debris. Haven't needed it (it's February) so I'm not sure when it actually went. Anyway, I wanted to get a grille for down there before I had it replaced ($850 was the estimate at my dealer). While browsing the interwebs I stumbled on a picture of the 2011 Jazz (below). My eyes immediately go to the bottom and low and behold there's a honeycomb grille down there! Any idea if I can get this some place? I tried some quick google searches but have come up empty. Anyone know if there's a Honda supplier that would ship a Jazz grille to the US?
